i7 6800k cooler question

I'm looking to get the i7 6800k and I would like to get the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO for it.

Questions I have:

Is this a good way to cool it? I will want to get a second fan I'm sure (as it only comes with one). Should I get a second fan? Which brand? Should I replace the fan it comes with and get two new fans?

Other questions: If I get EVGA's X99 Micro 2 (micro ATX) motherboard, will the Hyper 212 EVO be too big? On my current system I have to take the fans off to put RAM in, but I'm not good at judging size by looking at the pictures.

If the Hyper 212 EVO is not recommended for this setup, what's a good cooler I could get? I like the EVO because it's very inexpensive and does a good job. I have done liquid cooling before, but it's always been a pain because the hoses are stiff and short and configuring them for the case or system has been an hours-long nightmare.

Basically, if I get the 6800k and the EVGA board (or another board if someone argues a better board for the price), what would be the recommendations for cooling?

TL: DR:

This is my build. Please tell me your thoughts, if you'd change anything, why you'd change it, and so on. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/r2D3tJ

(EDIT: I have dual monitors, 1TB in SSDs, a 2TB HDD, and an EVGA 1070--the above components are all I need to upgrade now)

Well if you're not going to be using a case, then you're not restricted to any specific height. The coolers Synphul mentioned would be good, and I'll throw the CRYORIG H5 Universal in to the mix as well. Solid cooler, wont overlap RAM slots, and newegg looks to be doing a sale on it right now for $43. I think in general you're going to find the coolers that'll do you well to fall in the $40-$70 range.

No, the CM 212 Evo will not be enough for a hexa-core beast such as the 6800K, especially if you want to overclock it. I would go Corsair H100i v2. I believe the hoses on the v2 are much more flexible and allow for easier installation.

What case are you putting this in to? You're using a Micro ATX board so are you trying to go small form factor? Are you planning on overclocking? What's your budget?

Technically speaking, yes, the CM 212 Evo should be able to cool the CPU. The Evo has a max TDP of 180w, and the i7-6800k has a TDP of 140w. Personally tho I think there are better options out there. If you're willing to spend the cash on a i7-6800k, spend a bit more for a more up to date cooler. Preferably one that has a smaller footprint for easier building.

The 212 evo would be hard pressed keeping the 6800k cool at stock, likely running full speed or close to it while the cpu is under load. Any cheap cooler will keep a cpu cool at idle, depending what sort of workload you'll probably want a better cooler. If encoding videos for instance with all 6 cores loaded and running for a few hours at a time. There's no real point in adding a 2nd fan to the 212 evo other than for looks, it only improves temps by around 2c, maybe 3c. Rather than spend $25 on the cooler and another $8-10 on a fan it would be better to invest in a better cooler in the first place.

The 212 evo does a good job for the price but it's still a low budget cooler with only 4 heat pipes. It would help to know what case you're using since that will affect your cooler options. The thermalright true spirit 140 power can be a decent cooler without breaking the bank and won't interfere with ram on a 2011v3 board but it's a bit tall, around 171mm or so. Unless you have a wide enough case it won't fit. The nh-d15s may be another solution, instead of 2 fans it uses just one in the middle with cutouts in the cooling fins so it will fit over ram on either side of the cpu.

I'm on a pretty tight budget. Honestly, I had not planned on a case--if there's a good one someone can recommend, I'd go with it. Currently my system is mounted directly to the wall above/behind my desk.

I bought a 6800k and EVO 212 over the holidays and am waiting for them to arrive.

I expect to be able to reach 4ghz on AIR with 1.2v from what I've been reading.

Hope I'm right!

As far as your case goes, look up your case on Newegg/Amazon and then search the questions/reviews for 212 or EVO. That's what I did and several people said it would fit my medium sized case (Rosewill Challenger). Hope this helps!
