So I'm in the middle of ordering parts from Newegg and as usually i take a look at the warranty/refunds/returns to make sure there is nothing sketchy or not covered. When i get to the GPU (evga 1070) i take a look at the reviews and it seems there is a common problem with the card melting after 3+ months usage or even less. So im wondering should i just get one from a different manufacturer or should i stick with it and order a thermal mod from EVGA?

thanks

Pretty sure any card shipped in early November or later comes with it pre-applied, there shouldn't be anything to worry about. You can get one from a different manufacturer just for peace of mind but I wouldn't sweat it to be honest.
