I'm wondering if the GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard is compatible with the EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition and the Intel Core i5-6600K 6M Skylake Quad-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I56600K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530?? I really would like to know, as it may save me a lot of money. Thank you!

NO - it's fine with the 1070, but you'd need an AMD CPU and a good one to run the 1070 to full potential. The 6600K is an Intel CPU and needs an 1151 socket mobo

What kind of AMD CPU do you suggest? I'm trying not to spend too much.
