Hello,
I'm currently thinking about upgrading my i5 4460S (2.9 ghz) to an i7 4770k. I primarily play Arma 3, but on the lowest graphics with about 20 fps. I haven't looked at mother boards yet, so suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Solution
Looking at the price of an i7 4770k it is around $350. (Assuming America here). To start with the i5 4460s in not likely to be bottle necking your performance as it is a solid cpu and has no trouble playing games in 1080p and 1440p. My suggestion is that for the same price you go for a gtx 1060. (As low as $200 on newegg) and get yourself a solid motherboard. And go with an ASRock ATX DDR4 Motherboards FATAL1TY Z170 GAMING K4 (https://www.amazon.com/ASRock-Motherboards-FATAL1TY-Z170-GAMING/dp/B012D7GXNK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480454789&sr=8-1&keywords=ASRock+Fatal1ty+Z170+Gaming+K4). This will match the price of your new processor and give much better performance.

Ok thanks!
So you think my gpu is keeping me from ter fps? Just wondering because I just bought a GTX 960 SSC 4gb in like February. Also, if I did get a 1060, would you suggest I move out of my micro-atx case and go bigger? Thanks!
