I am playing steam games such as dayz and arma 3 on an hp envy 15.5 in" and since I am in college, I have no access to the router configuration settings. Also, there are no ethernet ports in the dorm. When I test my ping it is low~3-6, and my download speed is around 20mB/s as well as my upload speed.
Things I have tried to fix it:
Rebooting computer
Updating Drivers
Disabling windows firewall
Run anti virus scan
At this point I am really frustrated because the internet is fast in every other aspect however it is terrible for gaming. It behaves this way at any time of day as well. Any help is much appreciated
