Would this Asus ATI Radeon HD6450 Silence be a decent upgrade from an ATI Radeon HD 4350. I want to upgrade for playing World of Warcraft. I have a 430 watt power supply and I'm not trying to spend more than $50 or so. It doesn't have to be a super upgrade, just make the game run a little faster and smoother.

If it is a decent upgrade which one of these do you suggest, I know they are pretty much the same thing just wondering if one brand is better than the other

The rx 460 has ddr5 and I have ddr3 is that a problem?
They also 2gb and 4gb options and 1 or 2 fans what should I go with? I think I can handle the price if it will work. Thanks

I was also looking to upgrade another computer too, it has the Asus ATI Radeon HD 6450 in it, but it's a small form factor and only has a 240 watt power supply ,as far as I know the ps can't be upgraded. Also used to play WOW. Any suggestions????

I had a 5450, which was a slower version of the 6450, so I know from personal experience these are NOT gaming cards. You can game on them, by reducing resolution and settings until you get playable framerates, but I would never advise anyone to buy a card like that for gaming. It's basically a waste of $50. At the very least aim for an Nvidia GTX 750ti or AMD RX 460. There might be older equivalent cards you could buy, but they will likely need more power. The 750 or 460 can offer budget gaming performance with low power demands.

The DDR5 is what you want on a gaming videocard. It does not have anything to do with your system memory.

As the user above said, your system memory has nothing to do with a GPUs memory, just keep in mind you have a good PSU. On about you small factor PC, it depends how ASUS has maid it, weather it is soldered or used a pcie lane, I am unaware. All you need to worry about is your pcie lanes version and your PSU.

The rx 460 looks awesome should I go with 2gb or 4gb and 1 or 2 fans? Also the 460 doesn't come in low profile as far as I can tell. I have 2 different computers I am upgrading, 1 sff and 1 full size. Got any suggestions on a low profile card that doesn't require a lot of power that's better than the HD 6450?

I have a killer deal to clear up all your confusion and check all your requirements, I was considering this earlier but it was $130, so I held back. This card is low profile, is completely powered of the PCIe port and is slightly faster then the RX460. It's the 1050ti. It's only avaliable in 4GB versions. Here is the link. This card is marginally faster then the HD 6450, about 19 times or 1888% faster. Here is a benchmark.

PS: If you want to save a few bucks, but this 1050 NON Ti edition, but honestly the extra amount is worth it :)

PCIe ports are backwards compatible, so you can use it in a 16x 2.0 lane with no issues, your systems "bit" wouldn't matter, go on an buy the 1050ti, it will go in both PCs with no issues :)

I just ordered the Rx 460 for the full size computer , upgrading from a Radeon HD 4350, major upgrade. I think I'm gonna get the GTX 1050 ti for the sff , that will be upgrading from the Radeon HD 6450. Not quite as huge of a difference as the other computer upgrade, but still gonna be very noticeable. Thank you so much for all your help, hopefully I won't be back for a while. :)

Wonderful! Enjoy it, it is quite a major update from you old PCs, the difference would be extremely noticeable! Actually, the 1050ti is faster then the RX460 by about 10% and require NO power connectors and runs just of the PCIe port :p
Happy Gaming :)
