Hi,

So here is what happen, before this accident there is no problem with my computer and I didn't add new hardware or load to my computer. It runs perfect.

To safeguard my PC from voltage surge, before connecting to electrical outlet on the wall, I connect my PC and LED monitor to an voltage stabilizer.

This morning after turning off my PC, I left my voltage stabilizer on, after a while suddenly there is black out in my house (in other word the circuit breaker automatically turn off) then when i tried to turn on my voltage stabilizer, it wont start and no electricity coming out from it, it is broken, so I tried to connect my PC (PSU) to wall outlet directly, when connected there's spark coming out from the plug and again the whole house turn off (circuit breaker turn off), so I suspect that my PSU is also broken, then I disconnect motherboard and all the other hardware (like DVD, harddrive) from PSU and tried to connect it (PSU) to wall outlet, and again the circuit breaker in my house turn off with little spark before it happen.

Can you help me to tell what is going on with this? if the PSU is broken, could my motherboard and hardrive also affected?

Thanks.

Most likely there is a short circuit in the PSU itself, and that has damaged the voltage stabilizer. As for the components inside your computer, they are probably not damaged, but it could be possible. Change the PSU, and plug it into the wall. Also, is your PSU the same voltage as the wall? (110v/220v)
