What gpu to buy .

So my gpu radeon 7850 just died and I have 135 euros to spend on new gpu , I was looking at second hand market and choice is between nvida geforce gtx 950 with 2GB ram or radeon r9 280 with 3GB ram , 950 is newer but is it so much newer that new technology will beat 280 that has just more raw power to play with .

They're pretty close in performance (maybe an FPS or two faster for the R9 280 in most games), but the extra 1GB of VRAM with the R9 280 will be helpful. It does use a fair amount more power though so make sure you power supply is up to task if you choose it.

To be honest, i recommend you to get a new 1050. There is not much price difference between them. Try to save a little bit and you will get a GPU which is better than the 950 and completely new. I suggest you to that unless you find any good deal in second hand market. Here in Spain a new 1050, the cheapest model, would cost around 135-140€.
