Is 2gb vram still good?

I am planning to buy the gtx 1050 2gb because I am in a very tight budget. My question is this, is the gtx 1050 with 2 gb still good until the next 3 years?

These are my pc specs:
I3 4170
4gb ram but i'll be buying another 4gb this month.
500gb hdd
Windows 10 64 bit

My monitor is a samsung s19e310 18.5 inch 1366x768 native res at 60hz. I won't be playing on 1080p.

Am I good?

For your resolution it should be fine.

3 years? No.
It would limit your texture quality and you will not be able to take advantage of the fact thet you play on a lower res so you can up the settings.

Depends on your needs. For general usage and non hardcore gaming it's going to be enough. You'll be able to play games, but at a bit lower settings.

I'll be playing games like bf1, mafia 3, watchdogs 2, ghost rrcon wildlands, sniper gost warrior 3, and more.

If 2gb won't cut it why did the nvidia released it saying it is the essential gear for gamers? Can I sue them hahaha just kidding.

I'm still confused some people say it won't do but some say 2gb is more than enough for 1080p gaming..

If you are okay with sticking to your current resolution and dropping some settings down to low as time goes by, I think you'll be fine with the 2 gig 1050 for 3 years.

Well it's subjective. IF you are willing to lower the settings enough, you'll be able to play. But that means lowering them below what that PGU can actually do, so you would not be getting your moneys worth. Get a GTX 950-960 as those card's performance is more in line with 2 gigs of vram.

One last question, I have an aerocool aero 500 case.. If i get the mini version of zotac gtx 1050 ti, will it fit with my casecase or is it too small? I think the case is mid tower
