Since it is unlocked I'll be over clocking it to get some extra performance.I read somewhere that I'll need z170 version to overclock CPU .but that is quite high in price. No, you will need a Z170 motherboard to overclock any Intel K-series Skylake processor (i5-6600k and i7-6700k).
