Hello all. Recently I replaced my 2x4gb of DDR4 RAM with 2x8gb of RAM from another computer. The RAM was perfectly functional in the other computer, however, in the new one it seems to be playing up. I was playing a game that requires a ton of RAM (Titanfall 2) and realised that my MS afterburner was showing my RAM as peaking at 8gb usage, even though task manager shows 16gb all up.

Also frame rate was poor (30-40ish) even though CPU and GPU were at 80 and 60% usage respectively (GTX 970 and a intel i5 6500).

Ok. Go to system properties on your computer and go to RAM memory. Check how much RAM it says is on your pc, and if there is less than you have installed, open your pc and try re-installing the RAM. You may have done something wrong during the installation, or possibly the stick is dead.
