You can use DVI-D with DVI-I ports. DVI-I has analog support as well as digital, DVI-D is just digital.
DVI-I is the same as DVI-D just with the 4 pins on the left. You don't need those 4 pins with DVI-I only for analog. A DVI-D cable will plug into that DVI-I port and work normally.
