I recently have bought an MSI Z170a Gaming M5 motherboard paired with an i5-6600k. On my previous motherboard (ASUS M5A99X Evo R2.0) I was able to continue charging through the front usb 3.0 ports on my PC case when my computer was off (the back ones aren't even powered on this one). I've done some googling and everything I've tried so far hasn't worked. I have disabled EuP 2013 in the BIOS and disabled power management in device manager, etc. I have not tried the MSI super charger utility however but I have not heard many successful results with that.
