Hi guys! i have a quick question here.. Admiting i made the mistake of getting an fx9370, i was wondering if my Thermaltake TR2 750W will be enough to power that cpu, I know the FX has 220w of consumption and that worries me... i have a friend with a cool aftermarket cooler and a fx 9590 and no heating issues. But his psu is 1200w...

The rig is:

Mobo: Gigabyte AM3+ ALC1150
CPU: AMD FX 9370
Asus Geforce 1060 6g
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 750w
16gb Corsair DDR3 1333

Solution
It should be adequate. You could probably safely run your PC as listed on a quality 450-500w unit; many on these forums are very overzealous in their wattage recommendations. I'd be more concerned about your motherboard, the 9xxx CPUs are notorious motherboard killers. ALC1150 is your sound card, what's the motherboard's model?
