How to Overclock a new pc ?

So , just finished installing all the drivers i needed . Finally .
Now , i want to overclock . How to do it ? how do i know my limits ? \
Components : I7 6700K
GTX 1070
MSI Z170A PRO CARBON
deepcool maelstrom 240t
Super Flower Leadex 650w silver
From what i've heard , itsd not hard , nor "dangerous" , but i want to take some advice from you guys , so i dont burn anything in here

sure, i would trust it. basically every video on the internet has the same content but just differ in quality of explanation.

try to keep the voltage under 1.4V if you ever OC the GPU
 
If you have only just finished building the PC then I wouldn't start overclocking yet. Use the PC at stock, run stress tests, benchmarks and play intensive games with everything at stock. Only once you are sure everything is 100% stable at stock speeds should you even consider overclocking. If you have any stability problems at stock these need fixing first.

I've played some CS GO recently , no problems there . But i played gta 5 , and i might have seen some instabilities . It once crashed , but sometimes it lags like hell : when i open the map to put a mark , when i open the menu . But in game it has no problems . Are those faults of the system or of the game ?
