the safe overclock i5 6600K

Solution
It depends what you are trying to do. Honestly, if you are not sure what to do, I would not recommend overclock as you can mess up your CPU. I have my at 4.4GHz with 1.25v. Overclocking is a trial and error type of thing. You want to download HWMoniter Pro and test it each time you change your multiplier.

the best to make the VCore low with out crash? ,,, like 4.4ghz v1.2 best then 4.4ghz 1.35?
my cooler is corsair H60

every cpu overclocks differently any way

few main things

dont overclock if you dont have decent cooling

be careful if using software or auto overclock that the voltage isnt too high

4.2ghz to 4.3ghz is usually a pretty easy safe bet with 6600k

i have one i am at 4.7ghz on 1.344v but my cooling can easily take it

h60 is ok but not great

i have full custom watercooling even if i went silly and went to over 1.4v my cooling could take it

When you run your stress test, make sure you keep it running for a while. I had an overclock that seemed fine after a one hour stress test, but would eventually get unstable after multi day normal usage. Kicking the clock speed back one notch (4.2 to 4.0 ghz on a haswell i5-4670k) ended up resolving the problem. Even as a general rule they say you should kick it back one notch after finding your max overclock.

Yeah, I know, I got quite unlucky in the silicon lottery. :(
