Hello,
second build here, just finished it, and some problems occured. Breadboarded but couldn't use a display, everything was ok except cpu fan not spinning when in cpu_fan header. Got everything together, and as the title says - GPU and its fans worl, chassis fans work, HDD works, cpu fan works when inserted into a chassis fan header, PSU fan spins and it works ( supposably ).
Components :
Mobo : Asrock Z170 gaming K4
Processor : Intel i5 6600k
Heatsink : Zalman CNPS10X Optima Heatsink and Fan
GPU : Sapphire RX 480 8GB
RAM : 2 x Ballistix Sport BLS2C8G4D240FSA 16GB kit DDR4 PC4-19200 Unbuffered NON-ECC 1.2V, total 32GB
Case : Zalman Z9 neo
PSU : Seasonic G650 650W 80+ Gold
Already tried everything from the list, and also :
- tried a different PSU, same issue
- tried BIOS reset/CMOS
- tried w/o GPU, same issue
- ....
The only thing that is not brand new is the HDD from a different build, but that doesn't matter.
Maybe it is something silly, maybe I am just dumb, but please help, since I feel like I wasted a years savings on PROBLEMS only..
