I recently purchased a I7 6700K, and while searching for the best form of cooling for this CPU I've been unable to find a definitive answer. My current budget is about $100 for a cooler. I don't plan on OCing at all, so I wanted to know what's the best to go with in this case,

I've narrowed down two products that to me seem like a good investment at the moment -

Liquid cooler: Deepcool Gamerstorm Captain 360EX

Fan: Reevan Brontes 100m Low-Profile CPU Intel/AMD

I've been told by one source that liquid cooling is the best to go, but I'd like a second opinion. If liquid cooling is better than fans, by how much celsius? Is it enough to justify the price difference for keeping the i7 cool without OC? Also, would upping the air cooling to "big air" make a difference, because I can get a very good air cooler for 100.

Agree and you know what they say, you can't have a sexy computer unless it's hot.
