Computer noob here looking to see if my motherboard will support this graphics card before I buy as I'm worried about PCI-e versions and so on, any advice greatly appreciated!

Ur Mobo Is A H61 Gigga Mobo Which Supports The Pci Express Gen.3 For Maximum Speed The SOcket Is Lga 1155
BUT :

We Got 2 Options Here

If:

Ur Cpu Is A 2nd Generations Sandy Bridge Cpu So As In The Specifications Of This Mobo Wrote Can Not Support The Pci Express Gen 3 And Ur Gpu

Will Works With Gen 2

If :


Ur Cpu Is An Ivy Bridge 3rd Generations Cpu So U Will Face No problem Because The Gen 3 Will Be Supported By Ur Mobo For Maximum Performance

Also U Must Know : The Gpu Can Work With Pci Express Gen 2 too. Only With A Very Very Low difference . About 4-7 % Lower Performance Which

Cant Be Sensable So Much!
