Hi guys,

I've got a nzxt k60 and i left it with my friend unused whilst i went travelling for a year now to my dilemma. There seems to be a white dried paint like substance on the mobo near some of the pci slots.

I hope this is paint, will i run into any issues with the system not being run for a year

Is there a picture you could shoot us to verify if the white residue is in fact paint and not dried up coolant from the AIO? Pertaining to the question, provided there wasn't any leak in the AIO, the system should boot up without any drama in fact it should exhibit the same performance(albeit different temps since it's a different time of the year).

No, you shouldn't run into any problem with AIO's being left unused over a long time. Consider it this way, if they all had an expiration date, how do you think boxed/shelved units would've fared out in the open when they manage to get sold after a very long wait? :)
