So, I looked up online "Desktop Building Tools" and came across a 50$ kit for a screw drivers with extra heads. I thought that was overpriced, so I kept looking to see if there was something cheaper. Similar price. I'm hoping that if I buy the tools separate I can get it to be cheaper. Question is, what kind of tools do I need? I am completely clueless

Depends on the things you use but the last computer I built I only needed a Phillips head screwdriver. Maybe some pliers if you need to move around motherboard riser nuts but that's all I can think of. You only need a screwdriver for putting in the PSU, motherboard, and sometimes HDD's and SSD's but those are normally all phillips heads.
A simple Phillips Head Screwdriver is all you need tools wise. Between the motherboard and case, you should be provided with all the screws it needs as long as you're not installing 8 hard drives or something similarly crazy.

A magnetic head on the screwdriver is really handy, makes it easier, but not mandatory.
