Hello I have recently installed the EVGA GTX 1050 ti SC into my 760GMA-p34 Motherboard. (FX6300); replaced my Radeon hd 7700 series gpu..anyway

I set it all up and computer is running, but when I went to connect my monitor all I get is "no signal".

It is a monitor with DVI and VGA options, I am using DVI to HDMI adapter as that is all I have (plus vga won't work as it's not included on card anyway).. I have no idea what is wrong or how I can fix it?? Any help is appreciated

Solution
whats your monitor ? if its a vga and a dvi-''i'' only it maybe a analog monitor these new cards as the 10 series don't natively support analog signals . digital out puts only

d-dub/vga= analog only
div-I = analog and digital [the 4 extra pins around the flatbar looking pin carries this ]
dvi-D = digital only [NO 4 extra pins around the flatbar looking pin ]
hdmi = digital only

I am using now a VGA only monitor so that means I cant use my 1050 ti even if I have an hdmi-VGA adapter right?
