Sir my pc spec is CPU i7 4790k.gpu is zotac 750ti.mobo is Asus z97A.and Ram is Adata ddr3 1600.16gb sir my question is that I don't want to overclock my CPU but while copy pasting files the speed is less can you suggest me how to improve speed wether I have to change ram with ddr3 2400.please suggest me the best.

Ram would have NOTHING to do with transfer speeds.

Do you have a normal Hard drive? Install Crystal Disk Info to make sure it isn't going out.

Also are you transfering a few BIG files (50Mb and bigger) or a lot of little files (Especially under 1Mb in size) the speed will be different.

Bigger files trasfer faster than a lot of smaller files. A single 50Mb file will transfer WAAAY faster than 50 1Mb files.

Otherwise if you don't need a whole lot of space then upgrading to a SSD would fix that issue.

@drtweak tou are absolutely right. The transfer speed only depends on few factors,
No. of files. (small many files vs one large)
Hard disk/ssd speed
if its a removeable then type of media (USB 3.0 /2.0 or USB type C)

Check startup. Also check the Number of software installed. If you windows is old (more than a year or even 2 years) there are chances that junk files ahev accumulated in your registry as well as temp files.
