Ok so I just got home today and tried to boot my PC but with no success, it was working perfectly just last night, and all of a sudden nothing.

Specs are as follows:
i5 6600k
Asus Z170-a
EVGA P2 650W
Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce

So here's the weird thing, I have a Phanteks Eclipse case so my LED strip and 2 fans are wired directly into the PSU without any connection to the mobo, and I can hear my hardrives running so I don't think there is anything wrong with the PSU unfortunately I have no other rig to test it in. But everything connected through the motherboard refuses to run, my GPU doesn't boot, my fans connected through the mobo dont run, as far as I can tell nothing happens and I get no post beep, but the Power led is lit on my mobo so it is receiving power from the PSU. I have no idea what's going on this is the first rig I've ever built and in ran flawlessly for the past few months.

I have already unplugged and replugged in every psu cable, I've tried booting with the GPU uninstalled, but no dice.

Could really use an expert here, I'm fully at a loss

Solution
If removing the 8 pin power cable and starting the board, do the case fans spin?
It would be good to test with only CPU, CPU cooler and a case fan connected.
If not, then it might be a board issue.
