Ok, so I'm having this problem for quite a while now.

When using the internet, after a while I lose connection to my wireless network, my network adapter shuts down for a moment, restarts, but I can't connect to any network anymore. Every time I try to connect to a network, the adapter again briefly shuts down and restarts, after which I get the message that I can't connect to the network. The only way to solve this issue is to restart the pc.

Other devices don't have this problem, and I also have the feeling the problem only occurs on this one home network.

No virussen, malware, adware, spyware, ...
Drivers are up-to-date
I've tried releasing and renewing my IP
I've power cycled my router

If you need any further information, please ask me and I will provide it.

Thanks in advance!

I would try to verify that it only happens on the home network. I had a very similar problem in an Asus laptop that I had, and it turned out that the network adapter was simply old and failing.

Well, I have an Asus laptop as well.
As far as I can remember, the issue only occurs on my home network, but that might be due to the fact that my laptop is connected to this network most of the time.

My Wireless Network Adapter is the Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Wireless Network Adapter.

The one that failed in my laptop was also an Atheros. From what I remember of my research at the time, it seemed to be a common failure in Asus laptops purchased around 2011/2012. How old is your model?
