So I pay for basically 60 mbps or Megabytes, Not Bites. I have my Ethernet Cord hooked up to my Router and when I go onto my Provider or Atlantic broadbands site and test my Speed I get around 15 Mb, Yes I know (Normal speed for paying for 60) But when I go to download ANYTHING I only get about 1.8 Mb per second on the download and it is very annoying and very slow.

Please help

Well, it's definitely not a modem or Ethernet thing. Obviously your speeds are there. Wait...if you are getting 14Mbps..then 1.8MB/s is good. You have to divide your Mbps by 8 and get you will get your Mb/s speed. If you are paying for 60Mbps, you need to contact your ISP and see what is wrong.

So for the like 14 Mbps the final 1.8MB/s is normal. Since im paying for 60 is the 14 Mbps normal? Or should I be getting normally around like 30Mbps? Just asking

Well if you are paying 60Mbps, you should get around 7.5MB/s. In the speed test, you are getting consistent 14-15Mbps, so that means you speed is good. However, you are not getting what you are paying for. Call your ISP, and see what is wrong.
