will USB to VGA work?

I currently have 2 monitors. one VGA and one display port. can i use a USB to VGA for the third monitor? this is a work PC so no need to buy a new GPU.

No, the monitors need to connect to a display adapter.
What is the motherboard/cpu?
You should be able to buy a inexpensive discrete graphics card that supports 3 monitors.

I presume you have checked out the possibility of attaching 3 monitors to your motherboard.
Depending on the chipset some will, some won't.

Here is an inexpensive card that will support 3 monitors.

USB to VGA could work, but the results seem to be pretty inconstant. It may not work for your operating system, and it may bog down your computer with high CPU usage. if you have displayport on you computer you might be better off buying a displayport multi-monitor splitter.

Yeah a new GPU is a lot cheaper haha its only for work so i don't really care about FPS and load
