I had a similar setup before my current build. It should be good for games over a year old, and run some new games at lower settings. Unfortunately, games like Dishonored 2 and BF1 will need to be ran at low settings. Check out the GTX 1060 and AMD processors to get a bit more gaming power for your money. IMHO, INTEL is better for gaming, but AMD has some pretty good processor deals right now.

750Ti should only be considered with a very tight budget indeed. There are 70W GTX 950 out there. And now we have the GTX 1050 and RX460 which would be better options.
An i5-2400 is a decent processor if it is already owned. If not, finding an LGA1155 motherboard would be a bit of a chore and doesn't make sense when there are LGA1151 boards with DDR4 support. Even an i3-6100 would be a decent choice over the older i5.

Very difficult to recommend an AMD build since there is no upgrade path. If you pick up an FX-6300 or better, you are basically at the pinnacle of what it can do.
Looking forward to AMD getting back into the mix with their Zen line of processors.

I don't have any plan to play those game yet anyways thanks for the reply
at least this setup is already decent for my budget. This is my first upgrade and i'm still a student right now so the budget is still so tight- Nov 6, 2016

I do have a plan on getting lga 1155 but since my budget is not to big so i'll go for my planed upgrade for now.
