What Motherboard would the Intel Core i5-6600K fit onto?

Hey guys. I was just wondering what mother board would the Intel Core i5-6600K fit onto.
I am going to buy a the Intel Core i5-6600K but I do not have the right motherboard.

Here are my specs -
CPU - AMD A8-6600K Quad Core Processor
GPU - MSI GeForce GTX 960 GAMING 2G Graphics Card - 2 GB GDDR5
PSU - EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 Power supply - 650 Watt
MotherBoard - Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-HD2 Micro ATX Motherboard
RAM - Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-1700 2133MHz Dual Channel Kit

You'd need any Socket 1151 board (skylake).

However Id strongly suggest going with a Z170 board to make use of that unlocked CPU as you can only overclock on a these boards.

What is your budget?

For the Intel 6xxx series i5 and i7 (not extreme) CPUs, you will need a mobo with an 1151 socket. They will not fit into the 1150 or the 1155 sockets. The chipset you would want for the "K" version of the 6600 would be the Z170 chipset. The "Z" version chipsets are made so that you can overclock your CPU if you want with minimal issues, if any. So, just look for 1151 socket paired with the Z170 chipset and you should be good.

The 6600K is part of the Skylake generation so it uses socket type LGA 1151. You can use PCpartpicker.com to sort all the motherboards by that socket type as well as by board size and other factors.

Yes, MSI is usually cheaper for pretty good performance as well.
