I need to build a few computers to be sent to a location in the Caribbean. I will ask for build suggestions in another thread. This thread will focus on one specific question.
The Caribbean environment is very VERY harsh on electronic components. The year around hot, very humid weather close to salt water causes a rapid development of rust and corrosion. Previous computers had a life span of a only few years before they started failing.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to minimize these effects in this type of environment? Is there a particular type of computer case that I should consider that will slow this rust/corrosion process?
The computers wont be anything high end. 5 or 6 basic i3 or i5's networked together.
