i have mobo with 2 RAM slots.My question is Will 2gb stick work with 4gb to make 6 gb of RAM?
4gb is on 1333,for the 2gb idk.

If you have them, give them a try...If they play, they will prob run in flex mode, or effectively you'll have 4GB in dual channel and the odd 2GB off the 4GB running in single channel

No. You want to have the same speed. Basically, you want the same exact stick. Now, it is possible that it could still function, but it may not work. Also, you want to make sure you have 64-bit, if not, you will only have 4GB usable.

If you have both sticks, there is no harm in trying it.
If the sticks are different speeds, they will work at the speed of the slower stick.

The warning about 4 GB of RAM is for your operating system. 32-bit versions of Windows will only show 3.5 GB of RAM even if you have more.
