Hi i just buy a new DELL U2515H monitor. My previous LG monitor was connected with DVI cable and everything was great. My new monitor has only DP and HDMI conectors, so i connect it with DP cable and all the troubles started.
When i boot my PC makes 2 beep sounds but it start ok. Monitor looks great. I sut it down and try to start it again and the PC was dead. I put the power plug off for some second and press the start button again, screen logo "DUAL BIOS" , auto restart and load the windows. I shut it down again and hear a strange sound from my grafic card, i repeat the pc was shut down, i put the DP off and the sound stops. I was try deferend thing , restarts e.t.c. My PC was not turning on.
Then i try the HDMI port, everything looks fine, sometimes the screen glitching and i restart it to fix it, so i deside to play BF4 to test the HDMI. The game looks good for about 15mins, then the screen freeze, no ctr+alt+del or alt+tab works, just freeze, i push the restart button and when rebooting i hear constantly beeping and auto restart fail. I check my monitor to my friends PC with DP cable and all looks fine. Something is wrong with my system.
Can you help me? Is the graphic card, the monitor, the new resolution or the motherboard the problem?
Now i use my previous monitor with HDMI cable and all looks fine, i cannot understand what is going on.
