I work for a company that buys and sells bulk server components including ssds for servers. We get these parts for very cheap because we buy in bulk. I was just wondering if I could use one of them in my normal windows 7 pc? Or of it would even be functional?

Depends. Are they SATA or SAS SSDs? SATA will work in ANY machine with a SATA Port can run it.

If it is a SATA (The SATA and Power connector on the SSD are connected together) Then you need a SAS controller. Either a HBA (host bust adapter) or a RAID card to use those in a machine.
