I have one gtx1060 on my first pci-e and one HD5450 on my second just to run a fifth monitor. Problem is that windows 7 recognises the ati as my primary GPU. I went to bios and changed the primary gpu from auto to pci-e but didn't helped and i also don't see any setting abou choosing primary gpu in nvidia drivers...

Any clues?

The Windows Experience rating means nothing at all, so if you are trying to change your setup for that, don't.

What exactly are you trying to change in the motherboard software options for the card?

Try this:
1. Open the Nvidia Control Panel.
2. Select Manage 3D Settings under 3D Settings.
3. Click on the Program Settings tab and select the program you want to choose a graphics card for from the drop down list.
4. Now select the 'preferred graphics processor' in the drop down list (you can see what the automatic option is listed as global setting).

Hope this helps :)

The problem is that Windows themselves are recognising Ati as the primary card. that means that in windows experience index my system gets rated based on the ati and not in nvidia, same goes with my mobo's tweak software, i can't see my 1060's temps because it understands Ati as primary. I don't have this problem with any other software or game. (i haven't tried Photoshop and Premiere yet, i hope they don't see Ati as primary as well...)

Take another look in the BIOS and see if your machine is using NVIDIA Optimus, a "new" technology for saving battery. The general idea is that it allows the driver to pick the right graphics card based on the demand, i.e. a 3D game will use NVIDIA, while surfing the net in Chrome will use the other card.
