Just wondering If i can use the ethernet cable to connect my MSI B150M MORTAR motherboard to the router for a wired connection?

Yes your motherboard has an Ethernet port that will connect with cat 5e

Yes, if you click on the 5th picture on the msi page you linked to, it shows the ethernet port above the 2 USB ports.

If it has a hole that the cable will go in, that's a good sign!
