Hello, I need to know if a AMD A10 7800 would work well with GTX 970 ?
I was planning on buying this graphics card for Christmas but I am concerned it would be unstable or bottleneck because of my CPU.
My current setup
ASUS A88XM-A Motherboard
AMD A10 7800 Processor
GeForce GT 740 Graphics card
16GB DDR3 1866MHz RAM
780W Power Supply
Unfortunately I cannot currently afford to update my CPU or motherboard. This is why i thought a good graphics card would defiantly help.
I am currently playing Doom 4 it plays quite well but sometimes it lags.
I have Mafia 3 but i have not played it because i know my GPU won’t run it.
Perhaps can you tell me any other PCI based graphics cards around £230.00 pounds ($280.00 dollars) that would work really well with my A10 processor ?
