I am building my first PC. My case is a Fractal Design R5, it comes with 2 140mm fans (1 in front for intake, 1 in rear for exhaust). My plan is to move the rear fan to the front sinceI took out all of the hard drive cases (I am only using SSDs and an optical drive).

Question is: can I have 2 140mm fans in the stock case housing pushing air into the radiator, which is mounted to the case right next to it, and the radiator has 2 120mm fans on it pulling the air through and into the case? There is no space inbetween the fans-radiator-fans so there isn't room for excess air to move out (I don't think).

I am using a Kraken x52 cpu cooler.

The setup would look like:

Case < 2 140mm fans mounted to case <radiator mounted to case <2 120mm fans pulling air into case through the radiator

I have no idea if the 140mm fans would push too much air into the radiator that the 120mm couldn't keep up or if I am inadverntantly thinking up an excellent setup.

Please let me know!

Solution
1. you need screw holes to mount the radiator, the 140mm fans will be even wider so you wouldn't have room to mount it.
2. push/pull config is not necessary and worthless imo, I have tried it multiple times in different builds and 1-2 degrees is not worth the cost and space.
3. I recommend taking out the front 140mm fan and placing it at the bottom as intake.
