hello guys im struggling for about 2 months now.

i wanna buy the best possible gpu for my pc, and i want it to stay relevant for as long as possible.

my setup

cpu- fx 8350 (overclocked to 4.5)

mobo- amd 970 gaming

12 gb ram

520 W bronze seasonic

23 inch 1080p 60 hz monitor (probably gonna upgrade to a 144 in near future)

i wanna know whats the best gpu for future proof at the moment im willing to spend at most, to a strix rx 480 or strix 1060.

i dont care which is more cost efficient i just wanna know, what will be more time efficient at 1080p.

im really struggling cuz i cant choose one, and every other benchmark gives me different results.

help me mates :)

i know they are but in my country all of them are, that gpu is the same price or more expensive that the strix in my country, thats wy i said <mod edit> the money, i only care about preformance.

that gpu on portugal costs 340 and the strix 326

A 6GB 1060 would be the better performer overall at 1080p, but budget will play a part. If an 8GB RX480 is dramatically cheaper, it would be the best buy - there's a bit of a performance edge either way on the cards depending on the title. I'd opt for whichever is cheapest between an 8GB 480 and 6GB 1060.

The RX480 and 1060's trade blows depending on the title and DX support.

As for the "better" model, there's no hard & fast rule for that. Generally speaking, whichever has the higher clock speed.
That being said, each GPU vendor brings different things to the table; more OC headroom, higher factory OC, better cooling etc.
Ultimately, there's not a whole lot of difference between models.

even being the 2 most expensive (evga is the most) is it still better than the others

Ok, watch the language @sr julio. You might want to edit that post a little.

nVidia and AMD will always update drivers to close any perceived 'gap' in performance, that's just a fact. You can't go wrong with either GPU at your resolution.
You'll 'win' on performance in some titles (by a tiny amount generally), and you'll 'lose' in some others (again, tiny amount).

edited, so what ur saying is to get the best model for the best price that i can get, and it will not make a big difference
