So this was a weird thing to come home to today. I came home and my computer was off (left it on). Upon trying to turn it on again, the lights/fans would come on for a split second and the turn off.
I tired it a few more times, same thing.
Things I tried:
Yanked out video card and ram
Did the psu tester cap thing that came with psu, CPU fans started spinning.
Pulled cmos battery for like 15 secs then put back in (also hit the clear cmos button on mobo).
Flipped psu on and off a bunch, no change.
Other notes: not the power switch, mobo has a start button I pushed
Mobo power lights are on when psu is switched on
No beeps
Specs:
ASUS Maximus VIII hero
I7-6700K, was oc'd to 4.8 (just used the mobo auto tuner)
16GB 3200 DDR4
Gigabyte 980 ti g1 gaming
EVGA Supernova 850 gold
1SSD 2HDDs
