I just got the lg g4 everything is great and works. Wifi works at home in coffee shops and pretty much anywhere besides my highschool. I used to have the samsung galaxy s4 and the wifi worked properly. I'm supposed to get a login prompt that redirects me but that doesn't happen anymore. I can get it connected but I can't use the wifi at all. I've tried factory reset, vpn, clearing cache, using static wifi, manually typing ip in, forgetting network and connecting to it again, and many more. My highschool doesn't have an IT department so that's out of the question they can't help me get it working. It works for everyone else I know. Just not on my LG G4. Any ideas?

Try uninstalling and re-installing the web browser, or at least seeing if there is a new version of it.

Compare the settings of your device with another one that works. I wouldn't be surprised if you needed a proxy server.
UPDATE*
After 3 days of tinkering with it I FINALLY got the login prompt to initiate.
Completely random it seems. I didn't do anything but enable wifi and select the schools wifi. Gave me a notification saying "click here to finish connecting to (my schools wifi name)
Perhaps because it's a new device it had to get registered onto their servers and it took a few days? Not sure, that's my only guess.
