Hi, I have to of the same avexir core series ram just one is 8 gb and one is 4 gb can i still run them in dual channel?
can dual channel ram have a different size

Technically, if the sticks will play together (a 50/50 possibility) they will run in Flex mode - which equates to 4GB from each stick will run in dual channel mode and the odd 4GB on the 8GB stick will operate in single channel mode which is fine. Big thing will be if they will even play nice, if you try and any problems give a shout and we can try adjustments to stabilize them together
