Hello guys! I get BSOD due to memory failure. Happens a couple of times a week. Recently purchased a RAM stick, which was shown as a compatiable one on one of the sellers's websites, but that unfortunately wasn't the case. The one I purchased was a Crucial 4GB DDR3L -1600 UDIMM 1.35 V Cl11, and my computer is a MSI GP60 2PE 850ne leopard 8gb core i7 from 2015. Can anyone help me?

The Ram that didn't fit is around 15cm the other already in my pc is half the size. And I am also very confused about if I should purchase one or two Ram sticks. I read that it contains 2x 4GB sticks, but when I opened it i only saw one, although I didn't manage to open it all since there was something holding it back and I was afraid to ruin it if i pulled.

I have a picture of the RAM in it now. Here it is: http://imgur.com/a/N311O

Please help me I am a Newbie in this field. PS: I have already ran a Memory diagnostics test and it showed that there infact was a failure.

Just found out that the part number of the ram inserted is msi16d3ls1kbg/8g

Solution
yes all should fit. Check your current ram speed with CPU-Z or similar program and make sure the one you buy is rated at least as fast or faster.
Also, sometimes another stick of ram will not work at all with one of another make/brand. To be 100% sure buy the same type, or buy 2 new sticks of ram.

Do all those on the list fit? And if they do, do I just choose one of the 8g ones, since I currently have 1x8gb
