Its almost Christmas and I was given 10,000 php to spend, and was hoping to use it for upgrading my pc, I'm currently running a i5 4460 with a Palit Gtx 660 on a 500 PSU, and also 8gb of RAM. I plan to use the PC for gaming, and making Youtube videos.

My main purpose for wanting to change my graphics card is that my Rainbow Six Siege game constantly crashes, and I think upgrading the card would fix it, but I also hope to be able to play games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Civlization 6, Gears of War 4 and other games similar to them.

I have my eyes on a Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ 8gb, which goes for 12,895 php, and a 4gb version which is priced at 11,595 php since I read I could get a free copy of Civ 6 for it.

The price is flexible as you may have noticed, I just want to really get bang for my buck

I think for the price difference, just get the 8GB version so you can play 6GBVRAM texture packs or better.
I'm guessing you have a 1080p/60Hz screen, and both 1060 and RX480 run the game above 60FPS all the time anyways. (you get a free game with the AMD GPU)
in the future, if you want to upgrade your monitor, you might go the Freesync route since it is cheaper, so the RX480 8GB is a great choice.

*your CPU is great, don't worry about that

https://dynaquestpc.com/product/zotac-gtx-1060-mini-6gb-gddr5-zt-p10600a-10l/ I found this one. Also I forgot to mention this, but I was hoping to make the transfer to AMD as well. The PSU is a Aerocool KCAS-500W 80 plus bronze.

That sounds like it could be a software/driver issue. Are you running the latest drivers from Nvidia and the latest version of the game?

I have tried it for the longest time honestly, I always keep my drivers up to date, but it still does it. either way I think it's time upgraded considering I want to do videos on the latest games that will be coming this 2017

Well, you shouldn't get an AMD CPU and if you want an AMD GPU, you can get the RX480, it's a bit better in VULKAN and DX12, I think.
If you want an AMD CPU, wait till the first ZEN drops, and then you can go to AMD.
Depending on where you live, I would think about the mini version of any GPU.
The Mini GPUS have worse cooling, meaning if you live somewhere where ambient temperature could be high, like India for example, you should get the non-mini GPU, for better cooling.

now that you mention the cooling, it does get pretty hot here in the Philippines, so atleast this narrows down my options for graphics cards to pick from. also yeah just GPU for now, though I hear great things about the CPU
