I have a computer that is 3 years old & recently it started restarting randomly, but never once has happened while I am sitting at the computer. Initially I would think it may have been an overnight Windows 10 update, but when the computer is back on it does not always mention a Windows 10 update.
Additionally the only reason I really know it has been restarting is because if I have any open (typically Google Chrome) all my sites that I was looking at are no longer on the screen. And some of my start up applications show up as if I just restarted.
If I post a hardware monitor log, will that help determine the issue? Or could it be a variety of issues?
*On a side note, I wrote this & then did not click submit. Walked away from my computer for 30 minutes & when I got back my computer restarted. When I restored my open chrome pages this post after hitting back a few times was still typed up. So I am not sure if that means my computer is doing a full restart or not.
And lastly I am not sure if it always happens when I have acronis 2017 running, but I know my last 2 acronis backups did not finish because it restarted while it was running.
