Should I run these to GPU's together?

First, I dont even know if I can run these two together, but I would like to know if it would be better to run them together and if I even can run them together.

The two GPU's are:
EVGA GeForce GTX 1070
Sapphire Vapor X Radeon R9 280X TRI X

On a ASUS Z170-A motherboard

It won't do anything but suck power. Not til some dx12 games come out with the feature which isn't going to happen anytime soon.

Video editing and cad? Not for video editing since it's amd and nvidia and those encoders will set to cuda or opencl and opencl isn't the same for both. For the few gpu renderers for 3d, sure.
