Good day everyone. So I was looking around and I've seen that I wanted more ram. So I bought new ram and inserted it into the slots for my mobo. Thing is, It does not register..
So I started to look for analyze tools and found CPU - Z. CPU - Z shows the correct amount of memory on my motherboard so I'm asuming I plugged the ram in corretly. Windows won't use more ram then it's already displaying for some odd reason. Another thing I noticed is that after installing the sticks and booting my PC it won't install on screen, It'll simply pass me on to my log in for Windows and then It does not show up in Windows Settings..
What am I doing wrong!?

Here are some infos about my rig:
ACCESS
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: THE NEWLY INSTALLED RAM STICKS ARE SLOT 2 andSLOT 4. (IN CPU - Z)
I hope someone can help me fix this problem since I'd really like to use my RAM after all

What I have done..

I've removed the old stock ram and inserted just the new one. Without a RAM installation screen popping up it says I now have 8 gb Ram. When I add the other old ram sticks of each 4gb it says I still have 8gb ram.

Addtionaly: I have tired msconfig and disabling and enabling the tick for maximum memory. I would also like to mention that I have tried to update my system BIOS in hopes to find a new option enabling RAM remap. I have two ram types installed:

MEMORY 1 & 2
SMBus address
0x50
Memory type
DDR3
Module format
UDIMM
Manufacturer (ID)
Kingston (7F980000000000000000)

Part number

Serial number

Manufacturing date
Week 05/Year 16
Number of banks
8
Nominal Voltage
1.50 Volts
MEMORY 3 & 4

SMBus address
0x51
Memory type
DDR3
Module format
UDIMM
Manufacturer (ID)
Kingston (7F980000000000000000)

Number of banks
8
Nominal Voltage
1.35 Volts

Yes I'm aware of the voltage but I don't think that that's the problem, thus I have tried to do a BIOS flash update which parly suceeded but now changed the model name  of my computer and does not give me more options allowing me to potentially remap my RAM inorder to have all four sticks of four GB to work together and be 16 GB. It still says 8 in Windows Settings but CPU-Z shows a total of 16 GB with addtional information posted ABOVE.

Mixing ram doesn't always work good.
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/ddr-dram-myths,4155.html#p4
Look at "Just Add More DRAM".

What happens when you take all four sticks out,do a clear cmos and start with the new sticks on slots 2+4? If this boots add the old sticks in slots 1+3.

Some info about your system would be nice anyway, like what motherboard and cpu.Can be found he next way,

download hwinfo32,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "short text report",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,
copy by clicking "copy to clipboard" and rightclick+paste in your next respons
you can only copy/paste motherboard and cpu if you want. Using "dxdiag" should work as well.

Hey there Vic 40. It's been a long time but I finally got new ram sticks. I decided to send you my HwInfo32.exe report so that you can take a closer look at my setup and maybe help me find out what is wrong with my memory sticks. Please Ignore the Computer name changing to Acer Aspire M1935, It is still a Acer Predator G3620 but I may or may not have tried update the BIOS and it may or may not have gone wrong a little bit.

I see you still mix different ram which might cause things no to work well.

Memory: 16384 MBytes @ 798 MHz, 11-11-11-28
- 4096 MB PC12800 DDR3 SDRAM - Kingston 9905584-023.A00LF
- 4096 MB PC12800 DDR3 SDRAM - Kingston 9905584-017.A00LF
- 4096 MB PC12800 DDR3 SDRAM - Samsung M378B5173EB0-CK0

- 4096 MB PC12800 DDR3 SDRAM - Kingston 9905584-023.A00LF
The 'red' ones are different and maybe cause your problems.

Is the ram still runing "low voltage"? Is 1.35V ... If this is the case make it run at 1.5V and see if it gets better.

Hwinfo shows the correct amount btw,is windows still only recognizing 8gb?

Correct yes, it's showing 8gb. Additionally I don't have a BIOS that is smart :)D ). I can't change any voltage settings. It's uh.. [BIOS]
BIOS Manufacturer: Acer
BIOS Date: 04/30/2013
BIOS Version: P11-B1
UEFI BIOS: Capable

Alright so I did that and as I expected it didn't show 12 GB because it should, seeing it's 3x4gb Kingston RAM but instead it shows 8 gb

Probably correct yes. I tried to update my BIOS but I can't flash it anyways..
