my laptop is Dell Inspiron n4110.
So recently I was using my laptop, but out of nowhere I smelled a burnt smell coming from my laptop, then It shut off. I panic a little, turn on my laptop again, window still boot, but It can't detect my HDD. I run Diagnosis, everything is ok, well, except the "missing Hdd". So I open up the laptop to check what happen, then to notice a little black spot on my motherboard. The HDD still working normally, so I assumed that black spot is where It went wrong. My question is, can these motherboard be fixed? Or do I have to buy a new one? Cuz my laptop is out of warranty already, and finding a replacement motherboard may not really cheap at all.
