Hi,

I am on windows 10 and am upgrading my PC at Christmas (SSD, GPU, CPU & more). I am resetting my hard drive as a lot of junk has piled up over the years and all of my games are on Origin and Steam, so I won't lose them. When I reset my HDD, will I need to purchase another OS or does it stay on the hard drive? Finally, how do I get my OS to install on the SSD? Does it prompt you when you start the PC up again or do I need to go through some special procedures?

A good answer and you can have "Best Solution", a good-boy-sticker and a girl scout cookie. Thanks in advance!

One of the "important" things to do that may help. Is your copy of WIN 10 tied to a microsoft account. If so, should be no problem moving and reactivating after you upgrade. The OS would probably be cloned to the SSD, most SSD;s come with software to do this.
