Hi guys, so i have a CIT mars blue case (pretty old, i know). I seem to be having a problem with the side panel jack? I have a ASUS M5A78L motherboard and i have downloaded Realtek Audio drivers and i cannot find the problem... i have uninstalled the audio driver to see if that would work and it didn't seem to change anything? Please Help!

Looking inside the case, is the front panel cables all hooked up to the inputs on the motherboard, Have they come lose? If your unsure, Look at the front panel cables and follow them to the motherboard, Make sure there all connected to the front panel header.

All of the cables seem to be intact... The cables that go from the Front Panel to the motherboard is the PWRBTN, HDD LED, H.D.D LED and the ResetBTN and this are all connected in the proper way so i cannot think of the problem? Thanks for the reply by the by

You should have more then those cables, You should have a cable for front panel audio, Those you just stated are Power reset power odd hdd lights and led for active hdd. (did you mean when you said "and this" as that is the audio cable?

I don't have those cables? And i meant *these. Meaning that all of those cables are connected how they should in terms of Negative and Positive.

Sorry if this seems off, been talking in a lot of posts to help people so i get lost some times.

So as i take it, your having issues with the front panel audio jack not working?
Are you trying to connect a headset or a mic to the front panel?

If you go to device manager any yellow icons on anything with a "!" on it?

Best to your ability on the issue and i can dig deeper. Best detail please.

The front panel audio cables should have 2 lines, one for audio for the audio and the other one for buttons like power reset etc.
