ok so maybe one day the goal will be 2k or 4khd however i am wondering on a budget build i plan on puting most the money into the graphics so am wondering

will i loose much in way of performance if i buy an i3 6100 cpu (looking at i3 6320 benchmarks cause il overclock a 6100)

will i loose much in performance an i3 6100 vs an i5 6600k?

ultimatly may end up buying a radeon 480 cause it comes with a free civ6 game wich is the first game i intend to play. i will overclock the processor already have the cooling from my old rig.

if i do go with a radeon 480 for the free civ game would i loose much performance 6100 vs 6600k OC? how bout if i ultimatly end up with 2x radeon 480 in crossfire

You need to focus on what you want now first. Before you crossfire, you'd have to upgrade the CPU (and probably MOBO as you wouldn't buy a Z board for an i3).

Yes, there will be a difference, especially since the 6600k is overclockable.

For Civ6 either way you would be fine though the i3 is at the minimum for running that game.
